Match the slope to the panel
Racking changes panel angles so the infill follows the ground. Stepping keeps each panel level, with elevation changes at posts. The choice affects bottom gaps, post lengths and cut details, not just appearance.
Check the maximum racking allowance for the exact panel. Do not force a rigid panel to an unsupported angle. For stepping, sketch the resulting gap under every bay and confirm that it fits the boundary purpose and any applicable barrier requirements.
The planner counts top-down bays and shared posts only. Add a side elevation showing ground levels and the proposed arrangement. Ask the supplier to confirm compatible panels and post lengths before purchasing.
